Terms of vehicle rental​

  • Renter's age: Over 23 years old.
  • Driver's license: Over 2 years old.
  • Minimum rental for the summer season: 2 days.
  • Minimum rental for winter season: 1 day.
  • Category B' driving license for car rental.

For scooters

  • Category AM or Higher for scooter rental 50cc.
  • Category A1 or Higher for scooter rental 125cc.
  • Category A2 or Higher for scooter rental 125cc – 300cc.

Conditions for renting a scooter only with a car license:

  • For 50cc scooter: Possession of a license over 6 years and over 27 years old. (valid only for Greek Driving Licenses)
  • For 125cc scooter: Possession of a diploma over 6 years, over 27 years old and compulsory practical training of 5 courses with code "121" on the diploma. (valid only for Greek Driving Licenses)

Vehicle booking conditions

  • In order to book the vehicle, 30% of the rental cost must be prepaid.
  • The company may cancel the reservation with a full refund, in case of major and extraordinary damage to the vehicle. In case of damage to the vehicle there is no obligation for replacement by the company.
  • The deposit is NOT refundable.
  • Any amount paid for the rental of the vehicle is considered a deposit, even if it exceeds 30% (e.g. if the reservation has been paid in full, or due to a change in a few days), and in this case no amount is refunded.

Vehicle Collection & Return

  • Collection and return of the vehicle to the place and time agreed.
  • The vehicle must be returned, exactly as received, internally and externally.
  • Upon return, the fuel level should be the same as received.

Charges

  • Pick-up – return times: 08:00 – 22:00. For pick-up – return outside working hours, an additional cost of 10 E is paid.
  • Pick-up – return location: within Myrina. For pick-up – return outside the location, an additional cost of 15 E is paid for motorbikes and only under the condition of driver availability.

Other charges

  • Any fines or calls are charged to the renter.
  • Any damage due to carelessness or misuse of the vehicle shall be borne by the renter.
  • Zero charge for child seat, child booster, mobile phone holder, second driver.
  • Possibility for unlimited kilometers.

Vehicle insurance

Simple car insurance
Covers:
  • Damage caused by third party vehicle liability.
The details of the third vehicle and its owner should be recorded so that the cost of damages can be covered by the insurance. Otherwise, the cost is borne by the renter of the vehicle.   It does not cover:
  • Damages caused by the renter's responsibility.
The renter of the vehicle must cover the entire cost of the damages. There is no possibility of getting rid of their costs.
Full car insurance (excess over 500 E.)
Covers:
  • Damage caused by third party vehicle liability.
The details of the third vehicle and its owner should be recorded so that the cost of damages can be covered by the insurance. Otherwise, the cost is borne by the renter of the vehicle. The renter of the vehicle in case there is no information from the third vehicle does not have to pay a cost of more than 500 E. If the damages exceed 500 E., the renter pays a maximum of 500 E. and the rest of the cost is covered by the company. It does not cover:
  • Damages caused by the renter's responsibility.
The renter of the vehicle must cover the cost of the damages. If the damages exceed 500 E., the renter pays a maximum of 500 E. and the remaining cost is covered by the company.

Privacy Policy (GDPR)

All personal information of Happy Rental tenants remains for the exclusive use of the company and is not distributed to third parties. They are used only for the needs of booking and renting vehicles and are completely confidential.
